End of the project

Last 31st October 2015 finished the project Ar.Key.

At the end of project execution, once final products are ready, project coordinator has planned a final diffusion day, as last step of dissemination plan during project lifetime aside from other activities planned for project sustainability.

An information day with the objective of presenting openly the App developed and uploaded to well-known on-line markets, as well as all main results and achievements of the project done, in order to catch the interest and engage main stakeholders to ensure project’s impact.

The event was planned as one day conference with the participation of some of the partners involved in its development: CENFIC (Pt), BzB (De), IRTIC Universitat de València (Es), Centro Edile Andrea Palladio (It) and Fundación Laboral de la Construcción (Es). FORMEDIL (It) and Fundatia Romano-Germana Timisoara (Ro) couldn’t attend the event.

App Ar.key

Recently, it has been finished the development App Ar.Key, which it is now on trial period.

The App is an educational simulator based on augmented reality that allows the basic arithmetic and measurements applied to actual production processes of building work.

Coming soon will be operational for Android and IOS in English, Spanish, German, Italian, Romanian and Portuguese.

First meeting

On 14-15 November 2013 took place in the headquarter of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción in Madrid (Spain) the first transnational meeting of the European project Leonardo Da Vinci AR.KEY.

The partners who attended to the meeting were Joao Cabrita y Ana Paula Pedro as representant of Cenfic (Portugal), Frank Bertelmann-Angenendt from BZB (Alemania), Mauro Pastore and Lisa Pavan from Centro Edile Andrea Palladio (Italia), Nicoale Cernei and Annemarie Mecher from FRG Timisoara (Rumania), Marcos Fernández from Robotic Institute of Valencia University (España) and finally, as a representation of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, Mª del Puy Jiménez, Elena Novillo, Javier González and José Antonio Viejo.

During the course of the meeting, the partners established the different phases of the project, the schedule of activities and technical and administrative management, among other relevant issues.

It also was launched the second phase of the project, which objective was to define the productive processes associated with the restoration of covers, facilities, structural elements, facades, etc, and productive processes associated with the energy restoration of a building in each participant country.

Second meeting

The days 8-9 May, took place in the facilities of FORMEDIL in Rome (Italy), the second meeting between all the partners of the Project.

The attendees of the meeting were Joao Cabrita and Luis Oliveira as representant of Cenfic (Portugal), Markus Crone from BZB (Germany), Mauro Pastore and Lisa Pavan from Centro Edile Andrea Palladio (Italy), Nicoale Cernei and Annemarie Mecher from FRG Timisoara (Romania), Marcos Fernández from Robotic Institute of Valencia University (Spain), representing FLC, Javier González and Luis Manuel Barrios, and finally, as representant of FORMEDIL, Rossella Martino and the General Manager of the organisation, Giovanni Carapella.

During the course of the meeting, each partner exposed the results of the Focus Group carried out in each country, in which were discussed the following issues:

  • Definition of productive processes associated with the restoration of covers, facilities, structural elements, facades and structures.
  • Definition of productive processes associated with the energy restoration of a building: envelope (fences, thermal bridges of facade, covers, etc.), system of ventilation, renewable energy, air conditioning, etc.

Furthermore, it was lunched the development of the WP3 with the methodology to identify the key competences that are at the basis of the refurbishment processes.

Finally, due to the submission of the Interim Report, the coordinator explained to the partners the financial issues necessaries for it. The dates of the next meeting in Lisbon were set up.
