Fundación Laboral de la Construcción

The Labour Foundation for Construction will be the firm in charge of leading the  Leonardo Da Vinci “AR.Key” project. In 1992 the National Construction Confederation (CNC), the National Federation of Building and Wood Workers Union, (FECOMA- CC.OO) and the National Federation of Metal and Construction Workers Union, (MCA-UGT), composed a Board to create and manage jointly this non-profit entity which is the Foundation.

The Foundation gives training to more than 100.000 people a year through is 42 training centers, offering more than 400 different training courses in collaboration with more than 1,700 teachers in Spain. Its training is specialized in construction activities, and is eminently practical and of high quality, whose main aims are to retrain and specialize workers and to contribute to their employment and professional development.

Centro Edile Andrea Palladio (Italy)

Centro Edile “Andrea Palladio”(CEAP) is a vocational training center dedicated to the construction sector of Vicenza District and it was established in 1948 on the initiative of the Industrialists’ Association of Vicenza and the Trade Unions. CEAP is directed by a  board of Administratives made up of 6 Members. Staff members:1 Managing Director, 3 employees, 40 teachers/trainers.

CEAP got the government certification for continuous training ,higher education and 3-years IVT courses, entering the Italian net of certified Vocational Training Centers. CEAP is certified ISO 9001:2008 and it’s connected to the national net of Construction Vocational Training Centers, recognized by Formedil. Range of main activity: specific H&S courses and retraining for workers, IVT and apprentices training, high education for graduated surveyors. CEAP has relationships with other training centers in Europe for mobility and research projects to improve didactic potentialities and methods.

Cenfic (Portugal)

CENFIC is a vocational training center for the Civil Construction Industry and Public Works approved South through the Rule No. 492/87 of 12 June. It is the result of the agreement between:

-Institute of Employment and Vocational Training.

Contractors-National Association of Public Works.

-Association of Entrepreneurs in Building Construction.

-Association of Building and Civil

CENFIC has extensive experience in the delivery of vocational courses in all fields of construction, and a great standing in the accreditation of professional qualifications competency, since it is the body that is officially making the assessment processes and skills recognition in Portugal.

BZB (Germany)

The Construction Training Centres are a training organization and high performance is represented by 48 corporations in the construction sector with 2,500 companies in the district of Düsseldorf.

The BZB Krefeld is actively involved in European and international projects for years such as Project Moscow "Transform" Cooperation with the CFA du Bâtiment "Jean Fontaine" of Orl'eans, RE.FOR.ME, vocational training project in Jekatarinenburg (Russia) and Leonardo da Vinci I and II. Also, actively collaborates BZB RE.FORM.E European and participates in various international projects.

Our modern and equipped centers offer excellent workshops for the training of apprentices in construction occupations.

Irtic de la Universidad de Valencia (Spain)

The Universitat de València was founded more than five centuries ago by the City’s governing body and has become a modern state university offering teaching in every area of knowledge: experimental sciences; engineering; health sciences; humanities; social, economic and legal sciences; and educational sciences.

The Irtic is a multidisciplinary R&D center inside de University of Valencia that was created back in 1991. In this last 22 year this institute has been working around Information and Communication Technologies. In 1992 the Computer Graphics & Virtual Reality Research line was started. Currently this line has more than 40 people working mainly in the areas of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Multimodal Interfaces, Motion Capture & Simulation. In the last 10 years the group has developed an important activity in the area of Augmented Reality applied to maintenance and training tasks where  has been involved in several R&D projects at national and international level.

Formedil (Italy)

Formedil is the National Joint Association for training in the building sector. Leads a territorial network of 104 building schools, every year managing over 11,000 courses attended by approximately 142,000 participants including workers, technicians and operators in the construction sector.

Coordinates a vocational training system offering training courses on the basis of local demand thanks to its coverage of the Italian territory. Formedil aims at developing life-long learning and continuous professional growth for each job profile of the construction industry.

Is part of the Reforme network constituted to promote closer relations between young professionals and trainers in the field of building training as well as good practice exchange, is responsible for some international projects in which numerous European organizations participate (Belgium, France, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Portugal and Switzerland). It also manages some international projects with countries such as Poland.

German Romania Foundation Timisoara (Romania)

Founding: 20 April 1992

Target Groups: Unemployed people from age 17 and older, disadvantaged people, SME

Organization: Vocational adult training centre – NGO, 28 Employers, 10 extern collaborators, 16 teachers, Dual training system in, Long term courses over 12 months organize in modules, Short-term courses modular over 3,4,6 months, specializations from 2 - 5 Weeks,1400 Students per Year.

Training offer: Courses for skilled workers in the field of construction, installation, and welding, commercial, train of trainers. 35 Modules recognized Diplomas in Romania.

Significant results: Until 31 October 2012, 1294 organized courses , 19472 students, 4434 unemployed people, 90% of the unemployed students reintegrated in work , 5 SME created , 4 SME financed, Cooperation with local institutions and national labor offices, training providers, technical university Cooperation with 125 Rumanian and 19 European Companies. Is member in EVBB, EBSA and in the European Youth4Media Network e.V.
